Well i may be behind the times, but why should I pay $30.00 for 100 minutes of tracfone service when I can buy a new phone for $20.00 and refer myself so both phones get a free 100 minutes. Light dawns on my marblehead... JoshIII adds: You can get a refurbished TracFone free with the purchase of a $20 (60 minute) airtime card on the www.tracfone.com website (+ $5 shipping&tax). Refer yourself (before activation of the 2nd phone) and get 100 free minutes on both TracFones. Activate the refurbished phone on the web and for an additional 20 free minutes. Wait a month, deactivate the 2nd TracFone, transfer the minutes to your first TracFone, and sell the second. So for $25 you get 20+100+100+60 = 280 minutes and a free refurbished phone that you can sell on ebay for $10 JoshIII, 6FEB06, josh3i at hotmail . com Prepaid or TracFone questions? oups.com... When do the minutes expire? 60 days? 90 days? Minutes never expire on a TracFone, unless you fail to add airtime (card or PIN) before your "due date". The "due date" is always shown in the display of every TracFone. No other prepaid phone that I know of offers this feature. Note: You must add more minutes before your due date whether you are out of minutes or not to keep your TracFone activated. JoshIII, 6FEB06, josh3i at hotmail . com Prepaid or TracFone questions? Which part of that is not "expiring"? -- TIA, Derald The minutes never expire, as compared with some other companies where unused minutes disappear at the end of the month even though you are still a customer. With Tracfone, as long as you are a current customer, the minutes do not evaporate. PJ |

I didn't think so. |
