Any retail / high street bargains available on either of the above?
Price more important than brand or quality (it's for use as a polishing
machine, so the drill will be buggered by side pressure, eventually!)
Thanks

Screwfix do a 250w bench grinder for £15 inc vat, if you're close to a
Screwfix depot, there's no delivery either ;)

Have a look at http://www.wickes.co.uk/pcat/toolsets they were doing a
electric drill, bits and a carry bag with 2 years warranty for £12.

Thanks for the replies, will check out B&Q, the grinder would be better for
the long term.

If the B&Q grinder is a 125w version, don't bother, they don't have enough
power to spin the discs, never mind grind 'owt.
The very least you can actually get any use out of in the real world is
250w, for the price difference, it's a no-brainer..
