Hi,

House building and contents insurance was due 29/7/06, reminder received
in May.
Think I paid by credit card, but shredded all statements since (and
cancelled the card months ago). But I kept a payment receipt sent by the
insurer.
Received a letter late October "you haven't paid us".
Faxed over a remittance receipt received from the insurer, dd 05/06.
Asked to call them, told "the receipt was sent to you in error, you
haven't paid us. Pay up".

Insurer is NFU, where do I stand??
