I have a goldfish but that rate got cut in half.
I now use a smile.

I always pay off in full so rate not important.
Nor do I have a balance to transfer.

We've had the Capital One Circle card for the last few years at 1% but
they cut ours a while back to 0.5%. I think some still got 1%.

I believe it depended on your average outstanding average balance. Those
will above a certain level retained the 1% cashback, those who paid of in
full got the reduced rate.

I still get 1% and I always pay in full at the end of the month.
