View Full Version : PCWorld DVD+RW no longer BOGOF
Andy Foster
January 4th 04, 02:44 PM
Bought 2 packs of 25 PC-Line DVD+RWs in PCWorld Reading today - was
charged the full half-price (ie. 29.99 each - 59.98 total).
Still not a bad price for +RW - would've been nice to get them cheaper
though.

I've just bought two for £29.99 at the York branch of PC World - receipt
shows transaction at 15:01.
The label does show the speed to be 1x, which would be a shame if true, but
at this price I can wait a bit longer to burn a DVD.

and you will be too, if you buy these thinking that they're
re-writeable! They're not - they are DVR+Rs, not +RWs.

I get my DVD-Rs from ebuyer, but they're not much use in my DVDR75.
IMHO £1.20 a throw for DVD+RWs ain't a bad price, especially when I
didn't want to have to wait for delivery.
